Built in 2004, Mariposas consists of 71 two-, three- and four-bedroom town home and flat-style apartments. The project serves working families earning between 30 percent and 60 percent AMI. The project is located on two sites.

Programs: all free and available for residents:
- Vamos Kids: an after school program serves first- through fifth-grade students residing at this site. Vamos is designed to increase family involvement, attendance at school, school performance and reports of a positive school experience.
- Portland Niños: aims to reduce preventable health disparities in Latino children
- Expresiones: is an afterschool program for our middle school-age residents designed to increase family participation, school attendance and retention and reports of a positive experience in school.
- Vive Activa: an exercise program to motive women for a better health
- Resident Services: works directly with residents to create a better and stronger community
