Description
Built in 1999, Villa de Sueños was Hacienda's first new construction project. Villa de Sueños is also the first development to display Hacienda's trademark vibrant exteriors.
Programs all free and available for residents:
- Vamos Kids- an after school program serves first- through fifth-grade students residing at this site. Vamos is designed to increase family involvement, attendance at school, school performance and reports of a positive school experience.
- En Control- a gang prevention, alcohol and drugs program for teenagers and parents.
- Plaza Comunitaria- Hacienda CDC has partnered with Mexico's National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) and the Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME) through the Mexican Consulate's office in Portland to provide an adult education curriculum and support for Mexican and Latino youth and adults, 15 years old or older.
- Portland Niños- aims to reduce preventable health disparities in Latino children.
- Expresiones- an afterschool program for our middle school-age residents designed to increase family participation, school attendance and retention and reports of a positive experience in school
- Resident Services- works directly with residents to create a better and stronger community
